SOP: Issue related to Water quality/ TDS issue

Pointers where customer is reaching out for Taste/TDS of the water


Note: We will only create a revisit only if the customer is mentioning either dirty water is coming from the RO or smell coming from the water.


100% RO Water: Our M1/M2 machines ensure that all the water you drink is filtered through RO, which is essential for removing even the smallest impurities like bacteria, especially during the monsoon season when water from borewells can be less safe.


No Mixing: We don't mix non-purified (high TDS) water with RO water to adjust taste or TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) levels because we want to ensure that your water is 100% pure.


Mineral-Enriched Water: After filtration, the RO water is passed through a Health booster that adds back essential minerals like Calcium, Magnesium, and Copper, so you get the benefits of mineral-rich water without losing any nutrients.


Increased pH: The system raises the pH level of the water, which can help with digestion and overall health.


UV LED Protection: Our RO water tank has a UV LED that keeps the water safe and fresh for hours after filtration, so you can trust that your water is always clean.

Water with a TDS level below 200 ppm is safe for drinking. This range ensures that the water is free from harmful contaminants while still retaining some essential minerals.


Incase of High TDS if the customer is not aligned with the explanation then we need to create a revisit and case will be closed( Edge cases only).


TDS Variation reasons

If a customer raises a concern about the difference in TDS values between the TDS meter and the app, please provide the below mentioned reasons for the difference.

 TDS Variation reasons - 

TDS Variation can happen due to below mentioned factors-

Temperature: There is a difference in temperature between the inside of the machine and the outside environment.


State of Water: When we measure TDS in the machine, we measure it for flowing water. In contrast, if we measure it using a TDS meter, we do so in still water, which typically has a comparatively higher TDS.


Calibration: The TDS meter needs to be temperature-calibrated; otherwise, it will provide incorrect readings.


NOTE --- From now onwards we will not commit any numerical value to the customer regarding the purified water TDS which the customer will be getting from the machine.
We will inform the customer that our machine reduces 90-95% of the TDS and in our machine health booster is there which increases the TDS as well adds essential minerals in the water. So the purified water TDS will be automatically adjusted by our machine and will be as per the raw water TDS.



Water Taste Issue


The taste of water is closely associated with its TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level because TDS measures the concentration of dissolved substances in the water, such as minerals, salts, and organic matter. Here’s how TDS affects the taste:


Low TDS - Water with very low TDS often tastes flat, bland, sweet.


High TDS-: At this level, the water can start to taste distinctly salty, metallic, or bitter.


Proper probing is required in case of Water Taste issue 


We need to probe the customer how the taste of the water 


We need to check if it is a new machine or old machine 


We need to probe customer if water supply has changed 


If a customer is complaining about water taste we need to explain the points mentioned in TDS SOP

Revisit will be created in edge cases only where the customer is very adamant.
